Expense Line Items
The CiMS estimation and quotation process centers on customisable expense line items, adaptable for any project and easy to update. Key features include:
1. Flexible Structure: Line items range from simple (product purchases) to complex (talent and crew usage), with attributes like daily rates, overtime, payroll, 3rd party fees, and national insurance.
2. Mixed Currency Estimates: Each item can be quoted in various currencies, converted to the estimate currency using current or fixed exchange rates (e.g., US dollars, Euros, British pounds).
3. Bulk Update: All line items can be updated simultaneously, such as adjusting shoot days.
4. Estimates in Any Currency: Create estimates in any currency, with exchange rates updated four times daily.
5. Dual Currency Estimates: Print estimates in two currencies, ideal for multi-country productions.
Billing
Billing in CiMS is simple, flexible, and comprehensive. Features include advanced invoicing, cost reconciliation, and final invoicing. Fees and expenses can be added anytime before the final invoice. The process tracks outstanding balances. Supplier costs can be added in any currency and converted to billing currency using current or fixed rates. CiMS integrates with DEXT for seamless management.
